Summer Orientation Narrative Questions (reference the appropriate section of the RFP)The Division of Foreign Fulbright Programs at the Institute of International Education (“IIE”) announces a selective competition for U.S. colleges and universities to host up to seven Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (“FLTA”) Program Summer Orientations. The summer orientation program will provide the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistants with an introduction to academic and social cultures of U.S. institutions, a platform for networking with fellow Grantees and facilitation of their transition into the program. The orientations will take place during the summer of 2016 before the Grantees arrive at their host institutions. IIE plans to include up to seven orientations that will accommodate approximately sixty to sixty-five Grantees each, and the program will include two travel days and three core days. The deadline to submit a final proposal is Friday, February 12. You may contact Lauren Graves with any questions about FLTA Summer Orientation proposal submissions at lgraves@iie.org.
