IAPP Finland 2018 Application

Please complete the following application on behalf of your college or university to apply for participation in the 2018 International Academic Partnership Program with Finland. Once submitted, IIE will review your application and contact you with a decision within two weeks of submission.

Program Information:

The IAPP Finland is a 6-month long program starting in June 2018 that will focus on exploring opportunities for academic partnership building between colleges and universities in the U.S. and Finland. The program is open to all accredited U.S. colleges and universities that are seeking to develop meaningful connections with institutions in Finland.

The program fee for participation is $3,000 for IIE members, or $3,500 for non-members, and includes the following benefits:

• A personalized assessment of partnership needs and goals by IIE
• In collaboration with EDUFI and the Fulbright Finland Foundation, IIE will facilitate personalized introductions of U.S. institutions with compatible Finnish universities that share similar partnership goals
• Expert guidance on international academic partnership building by IIE and official advisory board members, EDUFI and the Fulbright Finland Foundation
• Access to a series of webinars each month from experts in the Finnish higher education system and academic partnership building between the U.S. and Finland
• Access to publications from IIE, EDUFI, and the Fulbright Finland Foundation on partnership building and Finnish higher education
• All in-country costs for one representative to participate in the delegation to Helsinki from September 16-20, 2018. This includes meals, lodging, local transportation, and access to exclusive events during the period of the delegation. Transportation costs to Finland are not included. Additional representatives from chosen U.S. institutions are welcome to participate in the delegation at an extra cost.
