Dear Colleagues,

With this survey, the Institute of International Education would like to assess how many U.S. colleges and universities would be willing to accept Syrian students on their campuses and waive tuition and fees if students were selected through a special scholarship program providing international travel expenses, room & board and a living stipend. If such a program is announced, do you believe your institution could commit to waive tuition and fees for at least one Syrian student? If your institution is interested in exploring this potential new scholarship program, please complete this very short survey. We will consider your responses and an initial indication that your institution might be willing to participate in this initiative. However, your responses will not be binding.

Given the extraordinary emergency affecting Syrian students, we hope that many U.S. institutions will be able to participate in this important initiative to provide life-saving opportunities for Syrian students.
